Black Fly Bites

Have you seen these red marks on your pet's underside? While they look awful and can be alarming if you've never seen them before, these are black fly bites. They tend to clear up in 2-3 days and are not usually bothersome. Sometimes, there are many spots if you were in an area that had a heavy black fly population. Black flies, in Southern New Hampshire, are usually most around from mid-May to the end of June.
